Azu Restaurant and Bar in downtown Ojai has been a lively, central gathering place for nearly 20 years. Chef and owner Laurel Moore had a vision to bring Spanish cuisine to Ojai, so she created Azu, Ojai’s original California tapas bar, where she blends traditional Spanish flavors and California favorites. In the lovingly restored historical building, two decades of constant refinement have created a warm, creative atmosphere filled with interesting people, inventive dishes and a variety of spectacular beverages. With over 5600 sq. ft. of indoor space, this historical building in a prime location could easily be converted to offices, a wellness center, or a retail space.Currently, Azu has multiple dining areas with 160 seats. In front is a full bar with family tables, sidewalk dining, and a fireplace dining room. In back is a private dining room with a full bar and a garden patio.
